Hey y'all!
I can't believe it's already November and it's almost my birthday too (December 10). This year has been flying by and it legit feels like we're only 2 months in 2011. Time flies... Anyway this post is dedicated to my favourite beauty products of October! So keep reading and enjoy! I don't have a lot this month so yeaa...
Ardell Duralash in Short Black
As I'm sure I've made you all aware of... I have short lashes so I bought this set of individual lashes awhile back and I used them a lot in October. They look natural yet elongate my lashes but and the more you add across your lid, the more volume you get.
Sephora Blush Me! Mono in Rose Rebelle
This has been my favourite blush this month. It is way brighter than I usually wear but a little bit goes a long way and it was ONLY.... $5! That's right. On Sephora's website, they describe Rose Rebelle as a matte rose pink and that is pretty accurate. I really like the fact that the blush is matte and it has been compared to MAC's Fleur Power.
La Ligne De Chanel Professional Eyeliner Duo in Noir Lame
I've had this eyeliner for a little over a year (I think) now and I haven't used it all that much but this month I fell in love. It is so easy to apply and I adore that packaging (duh, it's Chanel!). It comes with 2 powder eyeliners a matte one and a glitter one and 2 brushed that you can attach together to make a bigger double-ended brush - a thin liquid liner type brush and a thicker sponge brush. To apply the eyeliner wet which ever brush you would like grab some of the powder eyeliner and apply it to your lid. The thin liquid liner brush gives the effect of liquid and gel liner while the sponge brush gives you the look of kohl or pencil liners.
Benefit Eye Bright
I actually forgot I had this in my collection. It's a baby pink creamy stick that brightens your eyes. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately so when I do my make-up in the morning I make sure to put this over my concealer to brighten and wake up my eyes.
Stila Lip Glaze in Seashell
I got a Stila Trio and this is the only shade I've actually used from the trip and I love it. As you can tell it's a pink nude with a bunch of shimmer but it looks like my lip colour. It actually has a purple-ly undertone to it so that makes it a little more special.
Neutrogena Eye Make-Up Remover Lotion - Hydrating
At the end of September I ran out of my Clinqiue Eye Make-Up Removing Lotion so I decided to buy one from the drugstore and I love this one. It is significantly cheaper and it works just as well if not better. It gets practically all of my make-up off with one swipe. Plus the packaging is super cute!
Nails Inc. Magnetic Nail Polish in Trafalgar Square
This was in my October wishlist and I am beyond thrilled I got this. Since that wishlist they have released a new colour called "Whitehall Teal" which is a teal. This is a concept to explain so I'm going to quote what it says on Sephora.com "This unique formula has been specially developed with metallic particles to create a pattern on the nail using magnetic forces. As the magnet is held over the nail, the iron powder in the formulation gravitates toward the magnet forming the pattern secretly hidden in the magnet for an astonishing finish. The magnet is included in the cap of the nail polish."
So, that is it for my October favourites. I hope y'all have a great November and had an amazing October because I know I did. PLEASE vote for me for the Handmade Reviews Beauty Blog Awards I have a whole blog post on that plus a link at the side of my blog. I also have a giveaway for BCA! ENTER! I'll talk to y'all later!
