Taylor's Favourites: November 2011

Hey y'all,

I can't believe it's the last day of November!  I am super excited for December though, it's actually my favourite month for many reasons: 1) I'm born in December (10th); 2) Christmas (or any Holiday you celebrate); 3) The snow; 4) The Decorations; 5) Nutella Hot Chocolate & 6) The Baking.  So now you know why I'm super excited for December I'll tell you what I liked about November.  To be honest, I don't have a lot this month.  Let me know if you like the quality better because I'm using my dad's DSLR camera today.

I found these in my drugstore the other day and they were having a clear out.  I bought this cream blush for about $4 and I love it.  It's one of my first cream blushes and I will be buying more.  My only complaint is how shimmery they are.  I don't want my cheeks to look like I spilled sparkles all over it.  Throughout the day, the sparkles to fade though.  I for sure recommend these especially the way the consistency feels.

Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Raspberry

I got this as a 100-point reward at Sephora.  I love this gloss and the colour.  It's really sheer so the colour is barely noticeable but it gives you amazing shine and moisture.  Since it's getting colder I've been looking for glosses and lipsticks that moisturize and I really like this one.

Benefit A Little Bit BADgal Lash

I've missed this mascara sooooo much!  I got this mascara recently again and I forgot how much I've loved this!  It makes your lashes look naturally amazing and you can apply 7435739579357923 and your lashes won't clump.  It lengthens, volumes and separates superbly.

Dior Addict To Life Bracelet

A few weeks ago, this was Sephora's 500-point Beauty Perk along with a mini Dior Addict To Life perfume.  This charm bracelet is super cute and classy.  It reminds me of a Tiffany & Co. bracelet.  It goes with every outfit possible.  Oh, the box it came in was super adorable as well!

Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron 1-1/2"

I've been loving my big curling iron this month to create loose waves in my hair.  I think it's such a cute and easy hairstyle to achieve.  This was a really cheap curling iron but it does its job really well and heats up really fast for those days.

American Eagle Knit Winterwear

I don't know the actual name for these things but I love them.  I don't like wearing hats because they ruin my hair so these are the perfect solution.  They're warm, fashionable, cute and don't ruin my hair.  Please let me know what these things are called!

Vera Wang Princess

I've been wearing this all month.  I am obsessed!  This smells like heaven in a bottle because I have no idea how to describe scents.  It's a very light scent but it's still sweet and fresh.  It's a beautiful combination and Vera Wang you have a great taste in scents.

American Apparel Chiffon Twist Scarf in Bone

I love this headband, it's so cute with a messy bun to wear to school.  You actually can shape it into different things (I did a rose).  It's basically a piece of chiffon with a bendable wire running through.

It's easy to do once you get the hang of it.  Each time you do it, it'll come out differently and don't be afraid to wear it in different ways.  American Apparel has a lot of colours and if I had to choose another colour besides Bone it would be Lagoon which is a light Tiffany blue or a floral patterned one.

So that is it for my November favourites!  I've been changing around my blog lately, let me know what you think about them.  Also please vote for me for the Handmade Reviews Beauty Blog Awards and check out my Tumblr all in the "More Taylor" section of my blog.  Thanks for reading and have a good night/day!

Beauty Wishlist: November 20, 2011

Hey y'all,

Before I get started I'd like to wish my daddy a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, his Birthday was November 20th!  Now, let's transport back to my first ever Beauty Wishlist where I got some things I've wanted from February 2011.  I got the Vera Wang Princess Perfume and Benefit Bella Bamba Blush!  Now let's get into my Novemeber Wishlist!

SEPHORA by OPI Glitter and Sparkle 4-Piece Full Size Nail Colour Set

This set is $28 and comes with 4 full-sized nail polishes from Sephora by OPI.  The colours are "Only Gold For Me" (Gold), "Be-Claus I Said So" (Red), "Are You Glistenin' ?" (Silver), and "Sparktacular" (Multicoloured).  This would be such a cute Christmas gift idea!

This is the curling iron my idol, Lauren Conrad uses for her hair.  We've all probably seen LC's hair and it's usually is gorgeous, long, soft, waves.  I think this curling iron would help me create my new go to hairstyle.  Plus, I've heard Hot Tools is amazing.

UGGS Woman's Classic Short in "Chestnut"

Every year, there is the 'IT' Ugg and this year this is it!  The medium length Chestnut-coloured is super cute and can be paired with so many things.  The price of these are $199 CDN, which is a bot expensive but a tip for UGGS is go look in the Kids section.  They usually have bigger sizes for cheaper.

Sequin Covered Mini Skirt

Lately, I've been obsessed with Sequins and as I was browsing the Forever 21 website and found this one.  The skirt pictured above is $21.80 CDN.  If I ever see this I'll for sure get it!  I'm curious to know what you think of the sequins trend!  Would you where it?

Oversized Sweaters

I've wanted an oversized sweater for awhile now.  I've been looking at some from Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and Topshop.  The one pictured is the Knitted Textured Slouch Jumper from Topshop in Cream.  The cutest ones I've seen are from Topshop!

So that's it for my beauty wishlist for this month.  I hope y'all enjoyed and I'm so sorry for the lack of posts this month.  I'm not sure I'll do a wishlist for December since it's my Birthday month and the Holiday season!  Please vote for me for the Handmade  Reviews Beauty Blogger Awards PLEASE!  I'll be back later this week with a new blog post!

Haul: Buffalo - November 11, 2011

Hey y'all!

So yesterday me mom and dad were off work for Remembrance Day (or Vetrans' Day in the US/ 11.11.11).  So we decided to go to Buffalo for the day and lucky for me one of my favourite stores, Urban Outfitters was having a 50% off sale so I got some great stuff from there.

This first thing is from Sephora.  In my last wishlisht, I said I wanted this kit.  This is the Benefit Project Flawless make-up kit.  IT comes with a full sized Bella Bamba blush, a full sized Ultra Shines Lipgloss in Foxy Lady a mini BadGal Lash and a mini Girl Meets Pearl.  It was $32 but I had a 20% off coupon so it was like $28 total!

One of my close family friends dropped off some never-used or opened perfumes at my house the other day and I took all 3 of them the first one is the Harajuku Lovers LOVE perfume.  LOVE is more exotic and floral than the others.

The next perfume I was OVER THE DAMN MOON UNIVERSE about!  I've wanted this perfume for the longest time!  If you've been a follower of my blog for awhile like a really long time you would've seen this on my first ever Beauty Wishlist: February (along with Bella Bamba blush which I also got).  Vera Wang Princess is classified as an oriental and tropical scent with notes of water lily, dark chocolate, vanilla and a bunch more!

The last perfume is Harajuku Lovers MUSIC perfume.  This perfume is more fruity than LOVE with notes of pear, clementine, honey suckle and sleek woods involved.  I think I'll like this one a lot better than LOVE. It seems more of my taste in perfumes but you never know unless you try!

I went to Urban Outfitters and as I was checking out I saw this nail polish and the first thing I thought of was DEBORAH LIPPMANN!  It looks so similar to Deborah Lippmann's Today Was A Fairytale but it was only $4 (2 for $8).  This is the Urban Outfitters Nail Polish in Dust!

Since it was 2 for $8 rather than one for $5 I decided to get Urban Outfitter's Early Morning which is a fine glitter gold.  I thought it would be a good colour just to have.  I hope these polishes are good quality because I saw tonnes more I would have grabbed!

As I mentioned UO was having this giant 50% off sale and well... I went CRAZY!  This first top is by the brand Title Unknown.  The orginal price was $29 but this bargain hunter got it for only $10! That is right!

The next item is by the brand Staring At Stars!  Its a all lace 3/4 sleeve length navy sweater.  The orginal price of this cute sweater was $49... OUCH!  I got it for.... $10 .... TEN! Are you convinced you NEED to go to UO now.  You can read later, GO!

The next top is also by Staring at Stars.  It's called the Textured Spliced High/Low Top and it was originally $44 but I got it for only $15!  This sale was CRAZY worth the drive.  Honestly UO has such cute clothes but they can get pricy!

And we have yet another Staring At Stars product!  On the website it's known as the Marled Wide Open Placket Cardigan.  I got it in purple which they don't have on the website.  The original price of this was $49 but I bought this for $15.

OKAY! DEAL OF THE DAY RIGHT HERE!  This is my favourite item I got!  It's the Sparkle & Fade ColorBlock Dress.  It is so cute and I plan on wearing it for New Year's.  It is originally $59 but I got it for only $15!  Any dress this cute is worth more than $15!

The last shirt is form the brand Ecote.  Not only is the front cute but the real detail is on the back! I should of took a picture!  It's way to hard to explain.  This top was $34 but I paid $10!  WAH I want Summer back just so I can wear this!

The last thing from UO is this handbag.  I just saw it and was like THAT IS MINE!  It is so cute and practical!  It's from the brand Kimichi Blue!  The original price was $49 but the sale price was $15!

The last thing I got was this cute little bracelet from J-Crew.  It's this aqua string wrapped around some rhinestones.  It was only $10.  I actually wish I got more colours because it's so simple yet so adorable!

That is all I got from the Buffalo trip!  I hope y'all enjoyed and wish me luck -- I have a dance exam tomorrow and I am scared to death which is the reason I haven't posted much this week!  Please vote for me for the Handmade Reviews Beauty Blog Awards and there is still one a day and 10 minutes to enter my BCA giveaway!  BTYL (Blog to you later!)
