Review: L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm

Hi everyone!

Exciting news, I finally got my camera back!  Well the "4 weeks" soon turned into 10 weeks and they called last week saying they could not fix it, so they gave me a new camera that I love.  I can finally make a fashion post and I am extremely excited so I will try to post more.  Maybe not in the upcoming week as I have a lot of tests and projects but I will soon!  Especially since it's officially Autumn, I have a couple of "Autumn" themed blog posts in mind.

Anyways, I've been talking about the L'Oreal Colour Riche Balms for months and I decided (in the excitement of wanting to take pictures of everything), to write a review on the product!  So without further hesitation, here goes my review!

I made this cute little collage of pictures for you but as I'm looking at it it looks quite small? Perhaps if you click on it the picture will enlarge?  Whatever, I'm moving on!  If you really can't see the quality pictures I took I'll just end up posting them individually.

So the 2 colours out of the 8 shades, I have are "Caramel Comfort" and "Heavenly Berry", the first one is more of a nudish shimmery brown colour and the second is more of well a berry redish-pink colour.  Since these are balms they actually do not give you much colour, it's a very sheer tint and a lot of shine and moisture.  These came out the same time as the Revlon Lip Butters everyone was hyped on a few months back and although I haven't tried the Lip Butters personally, I think that these products have the same concept and I've read many reviews stating that these L'Oreal balms are up to par.

Since I don't like wearing a lot of make-up to school because that involves more effort at the early hour of 6 AM, I tend to go for a very natural look.  I think that these lip balms give a really natural yet shiny look while moisturizing your lips.  These balms are actually very moisturizing.  I bought these after I had the Baby Lips lip balms that made my lips super chapped and these restored them from the damage Baby Lips had done (combined with the force of EOS lip balms of course).

If you're looking for a very sheer and shiny lip product (that smells amazing, and although I do not support eating your lip products, tastes good too), I would recommend these balms for sure.  I am in love with these products and I actually love them more than my CoverGirl NatureLuxe lip shines and I was deeply in love with those up until the L'Oreal Balms entered the picture.  I can't wait to get more of these, and my favourite colour that I own is actually the "Heavenly Berry" (put NARS Dolce Vita on top and it looks so pretty!).  Plus, they are a drugstore brand and relatively cheap!

Thank you so much for reading my review on these lip balms that I've been raving about for months.  I urge you to check them out and try them out as I love them so much!  Let me know if you have any Autumn themed blog posts ideas and I will talk to you all very soon!  You can always catch me on my tumblr: LustFromLove.  I am redoing my blog so bare with me and all the ugliness!  Until next time, xx.
