TAG: 11 Most Reached For Products

I know what you're thinking... "Really another tag..." but this one is rather quite helpful while the other tag was kind of random.  I will be writing an update soon where I will mention my upcoming trip to Europe.  Anyway here's the tag, but unfortunately I can't find my card reader so I couldn't upload my own pictures so all pictures are courtesy of Google Images.  By the way this is strictly make-up products only.

1. CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation:
This is by far my foundation of choice at the moment! I love the lightweight feel it gives, not to mention the matte finish it gives my skin.  CoverGirl is one of my favourite brands and I always trust their products, in fact I got my first foundation from them.  "Redefine natural beauty with our lightweight silk foundation. With a touch of cucumber water and a hint of jojoba and rose hip extracts, our light yet luxurious formula takes heavy weight out of your polished finish."  Plus Taylor Swift looks flawless in the ads for this line.

2. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural:
In case you were wondering in the Winter I am the shade "Medium Plus" but in the Summer (when I get tan) I am the shade "Medium Dark".  I love this product sometimes I will wear this alone but other times I will wear this with my foundation.  This product also gives you a matte finish.  This is great for Summer, it is very light weight and it gives you a barely there feel, which is always good.  Lots of people set their foundation with this because it does give you some coverage.  By far my favourite powder (bareMinerals coming in second).

3. MAC Beauty Powder in "Cruella DeVil: Her Own Devices" - Limited Edition (Venomous Villains)
I absolutely love this colour on my skin tone.  I went to the MAC counter when the collection came out and wanted to get a beauty powder.  When I found out this was the only one left, my heart sank.  I watched MakeUpByTiffanyD (Tiffany) talked about how this beauty powder would not flatter anyone.  It is pretty much a pinky brown shimmery blush and applys sheerly but gives you a pretty flush!

4. bareMinerals Mineral Veil:
This is just a translucent a setting powder, although it does give you that"ghostly glow" in pictures, in person it just gives you the prettiest glowiest finish.  Something about this is just amazing to me, I cannot pin point it but your skin feels amazing when it's on and it kind of gives you an angelic glow, which is hard in a powder.  Since it is translucent, it flatters any skin tone.

5. CoverGirl Shimmering Sands Trio:
I know boring, BLAH!  I rarely wear eyeshadow but when I do and cannot decide which colour I usually gravitate towards this handy trio over any of my Bobbi Brown shadows (my favourite is Brunt Sugar) or MAC shadows.  When travelling for a little while I might want to wear eyeshadows so when I pack my make-up bag I always take this over anything else.  Go pick this trio up, it is cheap and pigmented but not chalky!

6. MAC Fluidline in "Blacktrack":
This is my favourite eyeliner of ALL TIME!  Basically it is a gel liner but i have had my first jar ( or whatever you would call the container) for about 5-6 months and I'm only half-way through and there is NO sign of it drying it.  I only have one colour, but I really can't wait to buy more.  To apply this I use a MAC 210 brush (which is a very thin and precise eyeliner brush).  I only use this on my upper lash line but I still use it practically everyday.

7. Almay Intense i-Colour Eyeliner in "Raisin Quartz":
I love Almay's Intense i-Colour Eyeliners, I have about five and love them all to death!  A close second to these pencil eyeliners are Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencils.  The reason I love this eyeliner in particular is because it is so unique.  This is a retractable eyeliner (with a sharpener on the end) in brown but it can turn purple throughout the day, so since I have brown/hazel eyes it really does make my eyes pop.  I only use this on the bottom waterline though.

8. EOS Lip Balm:
Left To Right: Honeysuckle Honeydew, Summer Fruit, Sweet Mint

I love these lip balms, they are super cute and well - known if you watch YouTube videos.  I have three and when I googled them, the first picture I saw was the one above, which are the three I have.  I have used up practically all of Summer Fruit which tastes and smells like peaches!  So, last week I went to pick up some more and I got Sweet Mint and Honeysucke Honeydew.  I haven't tried Honeysuckle Honeydew but I am in love with Sweet Mint, it smells exactly like the Mentha lip glossed from Bath and Body Works.  Not only do they taste amazing and smell good but they are super moisturizing.   Although every time I apply it I get a weird stare and people ask "What is that?" or "Why are you rubbing an egg on your lips?".

9. Kiehl's Lip Balm #1:
This lip balm is my little miracle worker.  I do not apply as often as the EOS but I do apply it every night before bed.  If I have really dry lips I'll apply ever 2-4 hours.  This is a gel lip balm that includes SPF 4 and helps heal chapped and dry lips, I apply this every night because it also prevents it as well.  If you ever have chapped, cracked or dry lips go pick this up and it will be your miracle worker.

10. CoverGirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balms:
These are amazing.  A lot of people do not like them or care for them because they are so sheer but they are buildable. The whole point of the NatureLuxe line was to achieve a barely there make-up look.  These gloss balms have SPF 15 in them and some are quite shimmery.  I own three of them: Coral (230), Marble (255 - Taylor is actually wearing this in the picture) and Tulip (205).  Basically these combine the lip gloss shine and the lightweight feel of a lip balm - the result a natural perfect sheer lip colour.

11. Korres Lip Butter in "Jasmine":
I love this, it smells delicious and is a pretty colour too!  I am not a real fan of lip gloss of lip stick although I do own a whole tonne of both but the real thing I usually wear on my lips in my Korres Lip Butter.  This is actually really cheap (about $10) but can do wonders for your lips.  It does moisturize but it also looks really great too.  These remind me of MAC's Lip Conditioners which I also love but don;t use as much.  You can also use these as a cheek colour too, although I have never tried it I think it will look great on your cheeks!

So those were my 11 most reached for make-up products.  I know what you are thinking, where's the mascara?  I do use mascara but I have not found one that I love and have re-purchased over and over again.  If you know of any great lengthening mascaras let me know and I will check it out.  Would you still like a Spring Nail Polish guide because I do have the nail colour wheel now.  Please let me know and what are your most reached for products>
